EXTERIOR CHARGEABLE WEAR & TEAR
The following exterior wear and tear is chargeable:
- All dents that are larger than the acceptable area defined on the Wear and Tear Template [85.7mm x 57.2mm] or [3 3/8" x 2 1/4" inch]
- All scratches that break the paint that are larger than the acceptable area defined on the Wear and Tear Template [85.7mm x 57.2mm] or [3 3/8" x 2 1/4" inch]
- A total of either four or more dents, and / or scratches that break the paint on a single exterior body panel (regardless of size). In these cases all are chargeable, and the entire panel must be repaired.
- Scratches or cracks in excess of 50.8mm (2 inches) in length on the light lenses, body molding or window trim. Refer to the Wear and Tear Template.
- All broken or missing parts
- Paint damage from organic fallout (e.g. insect decomposition, bird droppings)
- Customer affixed decals which cannot be removed without damaging the paintwork
- Holes drilled in the vehicle body

EXTERIOR ACCEPTABLE WEAR & TEAR
The following exterior wear and tear is acceptable:
- All scratches and scuffs that do NOT break the paint, regardless of size.
- Up to three dents, and / or scratches that DO break the paint per body panel, provided that they are all within the acceptable area defined on the Wear and Tear Template [85.7mm x 57.2mm] or [3 3/8" x 2 1/4" inch].
- Scratches or cracks of 50.8mm (2 inches) in length or less on the light lenses, body molding or window trim. Refer to the Wear and Tear Template.
- Scratches, gouges, and rust to truck beds.
- Small stone chips (5 mm or less in size) in the paint finish
- Paint damage from cleanable road tar, industrial road tar, and atmospheric conditions.
